This week is full of new music: Puerto Rico’s Yandel’s duet with Mexican band Latin Mafia, the latest pop hit by Mexico’s Kenia Os and the solo comeback of Venezuela’s Evaluna Montaner stand out among the premieres.
Other highlights include new productions by two emerging exponents of Mexican regional music, Oscar Ortiz and Mariángela, as well as Brazil’s Giulia Be, who presents a trilingual project in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Yandel, between reggaeton and symphony
Reguetonero Yandel, who is on his symphonic music tour, released his new studio album ‘INFINITO’, from which he is promoting his new single ‘Cómo es que se hace’ with Mexican band Latin Mafia, with a music video shot in Las Vegas during Latin Grammy week 2025.
Kenia Os and her nostalgic young pop
One of the current Mexican pop exponents, Kenia Os, released ‘UNA Y OTRA VEZ’, second single from her upcoming album ‘K de Karma’ and “which celebrates the essence of 2000’s pop through an emotional love letter”. The singer announced an album release party on March 19 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.

Evaluna Montaner returns “protected” as a soloist
Daughter of Ricardo Montaner and wife of Colombian Camilo, Evaluna returned this week with her first solo single in almost four years, ‘Rollitos de papel’, a ballad of “delicate verses” about connecting with people close to her that she presents as a “perfect mantra for those who celebrate the privilege of feeling protected”.
The silence of Oscar Ortiz speaks
Oscar Ortiz, an emerging figure in regional Mexican music, launches this Friday his album ‘SILENCIO HABLA’, with a genre he defines as “cumbia serreño” and the single ‘ESCONDIDAS’ with Gabito Ballesteros, in a mix of genres such as cumbia and pop. The album also includes the song ‘Y SI TE VAS’, with Carín León.
Border singer Mariángela mixes pop and norteño
Also from Mexico, Mariángela premieres this Friday a mix of pop and norteño music, ‘Cuando una mujer’, the fourth single of her current stage in which she connects with her border roots. In the new song, the artist explores the strength of a woman who, in the midst of a love duel, chooses herself over a man.

Brazil’s Giulia Be broadens her horizons
Brazilian singer Giulia Be launches ‘Antes que você vá’, a pop ballad from her upcoming trilingual album, which will feature songs in Portuguese, Spanish and English to reach audiences in Latin America and the United States. In her video, reported Agencia EFE, the artist shows the stages of a love affair, from happiness to “the heartbreaking” end.
