In an up-and-down duel, in the 88th minute, Hernandez accepted a ball from Brazilian Fabio and with a right-footed goal broke a 3-3 tie.

To give Mazatlan its fourth win and move up to second-to-last place.

Toluca missed the chance to climb to fourth place.

It remained in fifth place with seven wins, six draws, three defeats and 27 points, seven less than the leader Guadalajara, which had a game in hand.

In another game, Atlas and Tigres UANL drew 0-0 in a match in which both were conservative and created few scoring chances.

The result is bad for both because they will have to secure their quarterfinal berths on the last matchday.

Atlas remained in seventh place with 23 points, one more than Tigres, eighth (Filed as: Mazatlán vs Toluca).
