In the early morning hours of July 3, 2025, Portuguese soccer player Diogo Jota, 28, and his brother André Silva, 25, died in a traffic accident on the A-52 highway near Cernadilla, in the province of Zamora, Spain.
The two were traveling in a Lamborghini Urus when, according to preliminary investigations, the vehicle suffered a tire blowout while overtaking at high speed, causing them to leave the roadway and crash into an embankment, followed by the vehicle catching fire.
