The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Morelos confirmed the murder of content creator Camilo Ochoa Delgado, known on social networks as “El Alucín”, on the night of Saturday, August 16, 2025. The attack occurred inside his home, located in the Lomas de Cuernavaca neighborhood, in the municipality of Temixco, in the south of the state.
According to the first official reports, neighbors in the area alerted the authorities after hearing multiple gunshots inside the building. Upon arrival, public security and paramedics found the lifeless body of Ochoa, who had been shot. The scene was immediately cordoned off and placed under guard for the corresponding investigations.
From TikTok to the public eye

Camilo Ochoa had gained notoriety on social networks — especially TikTok and Facebook —thanks to videos in which he shared his experience as an alleged former member of the Sinaloa Cartel.
In his publications he spoke openly about his past, the risks of organized crime and sought, he said, to “generate awareness” among young people to prevent them from falling into the same path.
“El Alucín” had thousands of followers and its content, although controversial, was framed in a narrative of personal redemption.
It was not an apology, but a warning, and that duality put him in the spotlight of both the media and, possibly, criminal groups.
Prosecutor’s Office opens homicide investigation

The FGE of Morelos informed in a press release that the investigation protocols are already being applied to clarify the crime.
The agency did not rule out any line of investigation, although so far the motive for the murder has not been confirmed and those responsible have not been identified.
The Forensic Services area collected ballistic evidence and gathered testimonies from neighbors, while the Specialized Crime Scene Unit processed the house to obtain elements that will allow the case to move forward.
Context of violence against content creators
The murder of Camilo Ochoa occurs in a worrying context for content creators in Mexico, especially those who touch on issues related to drug trafficking, security or social denouncement.
Previous cases such as Valeria Márquez, Kevin Kaletry or El Pirata de Culiacán have generated debate about the risks of overexposure on digital platforms when dealing with sensitive topics.
This phenomenon has gained more attention in the U.S., where many Hispanics follow these accounts as a way to stay informed or connected with the reality of their countries of origin.
What’s next in the investigation
So far, no one has been arrested and it has not been confirmed whether Ochoa had received previous threats, but the Attorney General’s Office said the case is being treated as an intentional homicide with possible undertones linked to organized crime.
The authorities asked the public to collaborate with any information that may help to clarify the facts.
Meanwhile, users on social networks have expressed condolences and demanded justice for Camilo Ochoa.
Meanwhile, the case adds to the growing list of murdered content creators in Mexico, once again raising red flags about the safety of those who use their digital voice to speak out on sensitive issues.
