Mexican-American actress, producer and director Eva Longoria took advantage of her stay in Mallorca to visit the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, where she not only toured the facilities but also took the opportunity to play on the modern paddle tennis courts that were recently inaugurated.

The official inauguration was attended by Gemma Triay, current world number one in paddle tennis and pride of Menorca, who performed an exhibition to mark the premiere of the facilities.

These courts are part of the academy’s effort to diversify its offerings, which already include high-performance tennis training, academic programs for young people and recreational activities for visitors.

The incorporation of paddle tennis responds to the boom that this sport has had in Spain and is now beginning to expand strongly in the United States and Latin America, where the Hispanic community is contributing to its popularization.
