Iconic Spanish singer Raphael, 81, has announced his return to the stage after overcoming a brain lymphoma diagnosed at the end of 2024.
After four months of treatment and recovery, the artist has confirmed that he will resume his musical schedule on June 15 with a concert at the Roman Theater in Merida, Spain.
Diagnosis and treatment

On December 17, 2024, during the recording of a Christmas special for TVE, Raphael suffered a stroke that led to his emergency hospitalization.
After various medical tests, he was diagnosed with primary cerebral lymphoma with two nodules in the left hemisphere of the brain.
The singer was admitted to the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid, where he began specific treatment for this pathology.
Subsequently, he continued his recovery on an outpatient basis, following the instructions of his medical team.
