One of the most important changes during this stage was the official incorporation of Karla Monroig y Lindsay Casinelli as co-hosts of the program.
Both join the panel along with Veronica Bastos y Andrea Mezawho continue as part of the show’s core team. As the network explained in a press release, the arrival of Monroig and Casinelli seeks to bring new perspectives, professional experience and renewed energy to strengthen the interaction between the hosts.
The show airs every afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET and since its premiere has sought to differentiate itself through spontaneous conversations on topics ranging from entertainment news to social debates to the panelists’ personal experiences.
The renewal of the team is part of a strategy to refresh the format without losing the essence that has characterized the program since its debut.
The beginning of this new season was accompanied by positive results in terms of audience. According to data shared by Telemundo, the program managed to position itself as the number one show on Spanish-language television in its time slot during its first week on the air.
According to the information provided by the network, the show reached an average of 115 thousand viewers within the segment of adults between 18 and 49 years old, considered the most attractive demographic group for advertisers.
These figures allowed the program to outperform its closest competitor, the space Unequal on Univision’s Desigualeswhich registered 106 thousand viewers in the same age group.
The difference represented an advantage of approximately 8%, which was interpreted by the network as a positive sign for the beginning of this new stage of the program.
An achievement celebrated live

The show’s hosts were quick to share the news with the audience during a live broadcast. At the beginning of the program, Karla Monroig thanked the viewers directly for their support during the premiere of the new season.
The actress and presenter emphasized that the success of the program is mainly due to the loyalty of the audience that follows it every evening.
Verónica Bastos also took the opportunity to acknowledge the support that the program has received over the years. The host stressed that, beyond the changes in the panel, the affection of the audience has been key to keep the project alive.
La Mesa Caliente debuted on Telemundo’s afternoons in 2022 with an initial cast consisting of Giselle Blondet, Myrka DellanosVeronica Bastos and Alix Aspe.
Over time, the program experienced several changes in its cast. The first departure occurred that same year when Alix Aspe left the project after failing to reach a contractual agreement with the network.
Later, in 2025, Myrka Dellanos left the show, while Giselle Blondet’s time on the program ended in February of this year.
Despite these adjustments, the format has managed to remain current and continues to evolve to adapt to new audiences, consolidating its position as one of the most outstanding talk shows on Hispanic television.
