Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli gave a concert this Friday in the East Room of the White House for U.S. President Donald Trump, who gathered for the occasion all the Republicans of the House of Representatives, some of the senators closest to the president and the first lady, Melania Trump.
“We are going to hear a voice, the voice of an angel. It’s a voice that few people have been able to reach,” Trump said introducing the Italian prior to his presentation.
In addition, the president praised Bocelli for his performance at the Kennedy Center this morning for the 2026 World Cup draw, “it was incredible,” it is “a great honor,” Trump said.

Afterwards, Trump celebrated the presence of the majority of Republican senators and representatives at the event and later the recital began without the presence of the press.
This is the second time Bocelli visits Trump at the presidential residence in less than two months since last October 17 he went to the Oval Office where he sang privately for the tycoon.
