“Probably the next step is to have an MRI tomorrow.”
“After the MRI they’ll tell me, for sure, that I’ve broken something in my calf, in my soleus or something like that.”
Anticipated Giannis Antetokounmpo in statements to reporters after the game.
“I will most likely be given a protocol of sick leave of between 4 and 6 weeks.”
“I say that because of my NBA experience. From there I’m going to work my butt off to come back. That would probably be at the end of February or early March,” the Greek added.
“Hopefully the team will then be in a situation where we can at least fight for the ‘play-in’,” Giannis Antetokounmpo concluded, with some resignation.
