Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has been the protagonist of the cover of the May 2025 issue of Vogue Mexico and Latin America, where he offered an intimate interview in which he reflects on his most recent album, Debí tirar más fotos, and the deep personal meaning that this work has for him.
The Puerto Rican singer has established himself as the strongest exponent of urban music in recent years and is ready to embark on his international tour to honor his latest album.
A tribute to Puerto Rico

In the interview, Bad Bunny revealed that the creative process for Debí tirar más fotos began in January 2024 during the San Sebastian festivities in Puerto Rico.
In disguise, he immersed himself in the daily life of his homeland, which inspired the emotional tone of the album.
Subsequently, he settled on the island to produce the album, which was finalized just one day before its release.
The album not only pays tribute to Puerto Rico, but also addresses issues such as migration and gentrification, and values traditional rhythms such as salsa and plena, fused with reguetón.
A significant family moment

Bad Bunny shared that Debí tirar más fotos is the first work of his that he listened to with his family at the time of its release.
“We were all together at twelve o’clock, and we hit play and it was really nice,” said the artist, highlighting the importance of sharing that moment with his loved ones.
Reflections on your creative process

The singer explained that his albums are usually completed just before their release, a practice he has tried to change without success.
He differentiates between songs that come naturally and those designed to be hits, noting that both approaches are part of his creative process.
He also confessed that it was his album Un verano sin ti that really gave him the confidence to do what he likes, even more than YHLQMDLG. “That album was the one that taught me that I can really do what I want to do,” he said.
A través de su música, Bad Bunny invitó a los hispanos a recordar y valorar su identidad, a no olvidar sus raíces y su lucha por la libertad

The residency, titled “I don’t want to leave here”, includes 30 confirmed dates between July and September 2025.
Although specific dates for Mexico have not yet been announced, the artist has assured that the country will be part of his tour, promising that information will be revealed before the end of the year.
