The live stream of the closing of Bad Bunny’s musical residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, ‘No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí: Una Más’, broke the record for the most watched performance by a single artist on Amazon Music, the platform reported Sunday.
Similarly, the production dethroned all previous audience records and marked a historic moment for both the streaming service and Latin music, Amazon Music said in a statement released today.
Bad Bunny breaks record on Amazon Music

As revealed on Saturday night by X’s account @BenitoSpotify, Bad Bunny’s performance got the highest amount of “in live” than US rapper Kendrick Lamar’s ‘The POP OUT’ concert did at the time.
The performance of Saturday night’s show, which streamed exclusively on Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, marked the grand finale of Bad Bunny’s groundbreaking residency at the Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot de Puerto Rico in San Juan.
“This record-breaking broadcast brings global significance to an already momentous event that goes beyond entertainment, as it represents the launch of a comprehensive initiative between Amazon and Bad Bunny to support Puerto Rico’s economic growth and education,” the company highlighted.

Bad Bunny’s performance on Saturday, the 31st of his three-month residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, was a sell-out, and featured special performances by Puerto Rican salsa artist Marc Anthony.
Anthony performed with the urban artist ‘Preciosa’, one of the most emblematic songs of the Puerto Ricans.
Also performing were reggaeton artists Arcángel, De La Ghetto and the duo Jowell y Randy, singer Rainao, the plena group Los Pleneros de la Cresta and the Chuwi quartet.

From there Bad Bunny sang along with his guest artists and other movie, music and sports celebrities came to celebrate the evening.
Some of the celebrities who attended the closing of the residency were Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Tommy Torres and former Olympian Javier Culson, bronze medalist in the 400-meter hurdles at London 2012.
The residence was also attended by world-class personalities and figures such as LeBron James, Kylian Mbappé, Achraf Hakimi, Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Benicio del Toro, Paco León, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tito Trinidad, Piculín Ortiz, among others.
