Broncos beat Raiders 10-7 in Week 10 opener

The Denver Broncos defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 10-7 on Thursday in a close game to open Week 10 of the NFL season.

Denver remains at the top of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division with eight wins and two losses, where the Raiders are last with a 2-7 record. For the home team, Bo Nix totaled 150 yards and a touchdown catch.

Although the Denver Broncos were heavy favorites, the Raiders were a thorn in Denver’s offensive side.

He was only able to cross the diagonals until late in the second quarter with a pass to Troy Franklin that sent the game into halftime 7-7.

In the first period Las Vegas took the lead with an Ashton Jeanty run.

Week 10 will continue this Sunday with 12 games, including a clash between two of the best teams of the season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leaders of the National Football Conference (NFC) South, will host the New England Patriots, first in the AFC East.

Also of note is the clash between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers as they battle for the top spot in the NFC West.

In addition, the game between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin as part of the NFL’s international series.

Monday’s action will conclude with the visit of the champion Philadelphia Eagles to the Green Bay Packers.
