Jacoby Brissett had an outstanding performance for the Cardinals. He passed for 261 yards and two touchdown catches.

With Dallas, Dak Prescott totaled 250 yards, one touchdown. He was intercepted once and caught five times.

In the beginning of the first quarter, the Cardinals’ defense became a wall that stopped the Cowboys’ offense four times within seven yards of the diagonals.

Arizona took the lead on a 48-yard field goal by Chad Ryland and in the second quarter Brissett connected in the painted area with Marvin Harrison Jr. to go up 0-10.

Halfway through the half, the visitors’ defense became relevant again.

Mack Wilson caused a Jake Ferguson fumble, which Budda Baker recovered to put his offense on the field.

In the midst of the Cardinals’ dominance, the Cowboys’ special teams were in charge of getting within 7-10 on the scoreboard with a kick that was blocked by San Williams, the ball bounced into the end zone, where it was recovered by Marshawn Kneeland.

Arizona Cardinals came back before halftime with a series that dragged the home 74 defense down until Jacoby Brissett’s ground touchdown, which made it 7-17.

The Cardinals got off to an explosive start in the third quarter:

They traveled 74 yards in just three plays that culminated with a touchdown toss to Trey McBride that made the score 7-24.

Faced with the offense’s inability to score touchdowns, Dallas responded with a field goal that brought them within 10-24, which Arizona replicated a series later to remain in the lead 10-27.

It was not until the final period that the Cowboys scored the first touchdown with their offense.

It was a delivery to Ryan Flournoy that cut the deficit to 17-27.

In the comeback attempt, Dallas again dropped a fumble.

Cody Simon caused the loss of Javonte Williams, which Akeem Davis-Gaither recovered to secure the Cardinals’ victory.
