Confirmed: Mexico will play against Uruguay on November 15 in Torreón

The Mexican national soccer team will face Uruguay on November 15 in a friendly match at the TSM Stadium in Torreón, northern Mexico.

The announcement was made on Thursday at a press conference in Torreón. “Javier Aguirre (Mexico’s coach) wants the national team to face high-level opponents, who will put us in difficulties and allow him to test the players who will be able to contribute and be present at the World Cup,” explained Ivar Sisniega, president of the Mexican Soccer Federation.

Before Uruguay, Mexico will face Colombia on October 11 in Texas and Ecuador on October 14 in Guadalajara.
