During the first laps, the Mexican driver maintained a competitive pace, positioning himself within the top 10.
However, on lap 57, a puncture in one of his tires caused him to lose control of the vehicle, impacting the outside wall of the track.
This incident forced Daniel Suarez to withdraw from the competition, placing 23rd, the last position of the event.
“I was feeling strange in the car since two laps before. Then came the flat tire and I couldn’t keep control of the car,” said the Mexican driver in an interview.
