FIFA confirmed that it received more than 4.5 million ticket applications during the first pre-sale phase (Visa Presale Draw) for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The special presale, exclusively for Visa cardholders, ran from 10-19 September 2025.

The countries leading the list of requests are the three hosts of the tournament (United States, Mexico and Canada). Although FIFA has not published the exact numbers per country, it made it clear that these nations are leading the demand.

Participants: Amateurs from 216 countries and territories registered their interest for this initial phase.

Minimum price: tickets for the group stage will start at US$ 60. Tickets for the final and some premium matches could cost up to US$ 6,730, due to the new dynamic pricing system.

Draw process: being notified that you have been selected to purchase does not guarantee that tickets will be available for all 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.

Each person may purchase a maximum of 4 tickets per game and up to 40 tickets in total.

Why this presale matters

For those living in the U.S., especially the Hispanic community, this presale means a fairer opportunity to attend 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.

This without relying on overpriced resellers.

It also means having more time in advance to plan trips if you purchase games in cities outside your usual residence.

In addition, the 16 host cities in North America are preparing for historic demand.

Eleven of those venues will be in the United States, making it easier for many Hispanic fans to attend without traveling abroad.
