U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that Mexico and Canada do what his administration tells them to do when it comes to border security, a problem he said he has solved himself.
“Mexico does what we tell it to do, and Canada does what we tell it to do,” Donald Trump assured reporters in the Oval Office of the White House.
The Republican praised his alleged plan to end crime and attacked, again, former President Joe Biden to brag about his border management.
“I remember Joe Biden used to always say, ‘I need legislation.’ I didn’t have legislation, I just said, ‘We’re going to close the borders,’ and everybody understood that, because now they respect their country again,” he said.
