U.S. President Donald Trump will attend Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks next Monday at Madison Square Garden in New York, The Athletic reported.
Trump, a New York native, claimed last week that Knicks owner, businessman James Dolan, had invited him to the game.
Don’t want to miss Knicks’ comeback

The Knicks are playing in their first NBA Finals since 1999, nearly three decades ago, an occasion Donald Trump doesn’t want to miss.
NBA sources confirmed to The Athletic, the New York Times sports supplement.
Since his return to power in 2025, Trump has become a regular at sporting events.
Something uncommon among U.S. presidents.

Won by Carlos Alcaraz over Jannik Sinner, and also attended the Ryder Cup golf tournament, his favorite sport.
The president has also attended other major events, such as the Super Bowl in New Orleans and the FIFA Club World Cup final in New Jersey.
As well as NASCAR’s Daytona 500 Miles or a UFC event in Miami, among others.
Four times more expensive than in San Antonio
