Colombian artist Fonseca premiered this Thursday his new song ‘Celebrar’ with which he toasts to life at Christmas and New Year’s Eve, a piece that adds to the singer’s tradition of releasing a song every December, his team informed.

Juan Fernando Fonseca (Bogotá, 1979), winner of nine Latin Grammy 2025 awards, has made “emotions, gratitude and good wishes a unique hallmark” with songs like ‘Canto a la vida’ and ‘La Promesa’, which have become “anthems to embrace, remember and look to the future with hope,” the team explained in a statement.

Fonseca’s new song is “an invitation to give thanks for the thousands of reasons everyone has to be alive and together” and reminds us that “there are always reasons to toast,” the information added.

“It gladdens my heart to thank life through my songs and witness what this generates in the concerts,” said Fonseca, who said that “to celebrate is to be grateful for those we love, for the present, for the moments that are kept in our hearts.

The song brings together “optimistic” melodies and a “festive spirit” to become “the soundtrack for family gatherings, meetings with friends, novenas, Christmas dinners and New Year’s Eve toasts,” according to the artist’s team.

The song is written by Fonseca, along with Florentino Primera, Yasmil Marrufo and Andy Clay, reported Agencia EFE.
