The Government of Mexico, through its Foreign Ministry, informed that one of the people injured during a shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE) office in Dallas, Texas, is a migrant of Mexican origin, who is already receiving medical attention.
In a statement, the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) said that following the incident, the Mexican Consulate General in Dallas immediately contacted U.S. authorities who confirmed that “one of the people who suffered serious injuries is a Mexican national”.

He indicated that the consular representation immediately contacted the relatives of the injured, whose identity was not disclosed.

Attack leaves dead and wounded
He also pointed out that the Head of the North American Unit transmitted through diplomatic channels its concern about what happened:

This Wednesday, two migrants died and one more was left in “critical” condition after a man fired shots at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in Dallas.
According to reports, the suspect fired “indiscriminately” into the facility from the terrace of an adjacent building and hit a van containing the migrants.
The attacker also shot himself and died, according to authorities.
Texas accumulates third gun attack
Although authorities stressed that they do not yet know the motive behind the attack, several Donald Trump administration officials and Republican politicians, including Vice President JD Vance, immediately linked it to “violence” and threats against “law enforcement.”
This is the third similar incident so far this year in Texas.
In July, authorities charged 10 people with participating in a shooting outside a migrant detention center in Alvarado.
This attack left one police officer injured and was deemed an “organized attack” by the Department of Justice.
That same month, federal agents killed a man who shot at a Border Patrol building in McAllen.
A crossfire ensued, leaving at least one person wounded.
