Uruguay’s Fernando Gorriarán scored the goal on Thursday as Mexico’s Tigres UANL eliminated Cincinnati of the United States and advanced to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, where they will face Seattle Sounders of the MLS.
Tigres won 5-1 with a goal in added time by Gorriarán and qualified with a total score of 5-4, after losing the first leg 3-0 in their visit to Cincinnati the previous week.
Tigres imposes conditions from the start

Two goals from Ozziel Herrera and two more from Uruguayan Rodrigo Aguirre completed the felines’ tally; Kevin Denkey scored for the visitors.
Tigres took the lead right from the start in this CONCACAF Champions Cup duel.
In the fifth minute, Diego Lainez broke down the right and passed to Jesús Garza, who crossed for Rodrigo Aguirre, who celebrated the 1-0 lead.
The pressure continued and in the 10th minute, Ozziel Herrera did some damage on the left side of the box without a mark and fired a powerful shot at the opposite post to make it 2-0.

In the second half, the felines started with the same determination.
In the 46th minute, Ozziel Herrera made it 3-0 with a shot from outside the box that went into the upper right corner.
Three minutes later, a spectacular scissor kick by Aguirre made it 4-0.
Cincinnati reacted thanks to a foul that Evander collected and finished off Denkey to leave Nahuel with no option; it was 4-1.
Gorriarán, who came on in the 78th minute, made it 5-1 in the 8th minute of added time with a shot to the goalkeeper’s right.
