Disney announced Wednesday the releases of the live-action version of ‘Lilo & Stitch 2’ and ‘The Incredibles 3,’ which will hit theaters on May 26 and June 16, 2028, respectively.
Both films will be part of the summer lineup of the entertainment giant, which is also preparing the third installment of ‘Monsters Inc. (‘Monsters Inc.’) for its return to the big screen in 2028.
The sequel to ‘Lilo & Stitch’ builds on the success of the first installment, which opened worldwide on May 23 and set a new milestone as the highest-grossing four-day Memorial Day weekend release in U.S. history.

The film, based on the animated film of the same name released in 2002, tells the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl who befriends a runaway alien who helps her rebuild ties with her family.
The plot of the third installment of ‘The Incredibles’, meanwhile, is being kept under wraps, reported Agencia EFE, although it will follow the story of superhero couple Bob and Helen Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, who try to live a normal life in the suburbs with their three children after the government bans superpowers.
