US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, has released its list of the most wanted fugitives, revealing that five of them are directly linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. Among the names are Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s sons and family members, known as “Los Chapitos,” who face multiple federal charges in the United States, including conspiracy to distribute drugs, money laundering and operating ongoing criminal enterprises.

The most prominent on the list is Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, alias “Alfredito,” who along with his brothers took control of their father’s faction after his capture. He has been wanted for serious crimes related to large-scale drug trafficking since 2008, and a $10 million reward is being offered for information leading to his capture. He is followed by Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, alias “Chapito”, also Chapo’s son, with a similar criminal record. Both are considered extremely dangerous, are armed and have been linked to violent acts in Mexico and the United States, including the “Culiacanazo” of 2019, when dozens of hitmen confronted Mexican armed forces to free Ovidio Guzmán López.
