Bad Bunny says he has excluded the United States from his latest concert tour for fear of raids, given the possibility that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will come to the venues to detain people.

“There was the problem that the damn ICE could be out (of the concert). And that’s something we talked about and we were very concerned about,” says the Puerto Rican singer in an interview published Wednesday by i-D magazine.

Bad Bunny adds that there were “many reasons” why he decided not to go to the United States, and that none of them were motivated by hate.

“I have performed there many times. Every performance has been a success. They have all been magnificent. I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos living in the United States,” says the 31-year-old singer, who on September 14 will conclude his 30-concert musical residency in Puerto Rico, titled ‘No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí’ (I Don’t Want To Leave Here) and a preamble to a world tour.

This series of performances follows the release earlier this year of his album ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOtoS’, a tribute to his native island that fuses reguetón with the indigenous rhythms of salsa and plena.

Bad Bunny notes in i-D that Americans can go to Puerto Rico to see him perform and that Latinos and Puerto Ricans in the United States can also go to the island or anywhere else in the world.

The “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour” will take him to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Spain, reported Agencia EFE, where he is scheduled to perform in Barcelona and Madrid between 22 May 2026 and 15 June.
