Inter Miami announced Wednesday the signing of Brazilian center back Micael dos Santos on loan from Palmeiras, with an option to buy at the end of the 2026 season.
Micael Dos Santos, 25, has extensive MLS experience after joining Houston Dynamo for the 2022 season, which he left last year to join Palmeiras.

The player also has experience with Atlético Mineiro.
He helped it win one Campeonato Brasileiro (2021), one Copa do Brasil (2021), two Campeonato Mineiro (2021 and 2022) and one Supercopa do Brasil (2022).
Micael Dos Santos faced Inter Miami last summer as a member of the Brazilian club in the first-round match of the Club World Cup.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw and sealed the passage of both teams to the round of 16.

In addition to the arrival of Brazilian defender Micael dos Santos, Inter Miami has added key reinforcements to strengthen the team’s most vulnerable areas.
One of the most important signings is goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair, considered the best goalkeeper in MLS last season.
