Julia Roberts arrives in Venice with her film ‘After the Hunt’.

Throughout her career Julia Roberts had never attended the Venice Film Festival but this Friday she made her debut on the red carpet at the premiere of her film ‘After the hunt’ by Luca Guadagnino.

The American actress attended the Palazzo del Cinema del Lido Venetian in a long dress in navy blue with parts of black rhombus print.

His appearance drew a standing ovation from a crowd that had come to the red carpet taking advantage of the rain that had finally stopped and to whom he signed some autographs.

Other cast mates also paraded, such as actress Ayo Edebiri, in a long red dress, or Andrew Garfield, in a wide sky blue suit.

The red carpet ended with the traditional family photo of the film’s cast, headed by director Guadagnino himself.

The premiere of ‘After the hunt’ has brought for the first time the actress of ‘Pretty Woman’ (1990) or ‘Erin Brockovich’ (2000) to the Mostra, where the film has been premiered out of competition.

Although in the morning, during the presentation press conference, he recalled that he had already worked in the monumental City of Canals with Woody Allen in the filming of ‘Everyone says I love you’ (1996).

“It’s an extraordinary place, one of the most inexplicable and magical places there is. When I came here this morning I was thinking about how lucky it is. It’s like a dream,” confessed the actress, reported Agencia EFE.
