LeBron James on Wednesday became the first player in NBA history to reach 60,000 minutes in the regular season and did so in a 129-99 setback to his former home, Cleveland, where the Lakers suffered a tough 129-99 loss.
LeBron was visibly moved in the lead-up to the game as the Cavaliers showed a video celebrating his years in Cleveland and the title won in 2016. But on the court the Cavs competed fiercely and tore the Lakers apart with a second half finish 72-44.

After scoring 46 points in Monday’s win at the Bulls, Doncic led the Lakers in scoring with 29 points (12-of-20 shooting) and six assists.
The Slovenian suffered a sprained left ankle in the first half when, after shooting a three-pointer, he finished the move by jumping backwards on his left leg until he slipped on the edge of the court.
Doncic was able to continue and played all 12 minutes of the third period before coach JJ Redick rested him in the fourth, with the game already decided in favor of the Cavs.
After the game, the Slovenian walked around the court to exchange greetings with Donovan Mitchell, showing no signs of serious trouble.
