The American singer Madonna presented her new album, ‘Confessions II’, during a surprise concert held in the iconic Times Square, where she gathered hundreds of fans in the heart of Manhattan.
The singer appeared on the balcony of one of the screens in Times Square and sang some of the previews of her new work and classics like ‘Hung Up’.
‘Confessions II’, the singer’s fifteenth studio album, is conceived as a sequel to her album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ (2005) and will be released on July 3.
Madonna kicked off her Times Square concert with ‘I Feel So Free’, the first track on her new album, and after performing ‘Bring Your Love’, in which she collaborates with singer Sabrina Carpenter, with whom she performed at the Coachella Festival, she revisited her work from more than 20 years ago, including ‘Get Together’.

In this work, he delves again into disco and electronic music and has returned to work with producer Stuart Price, with whom he co-wrote the first part of this diptych.
Madonna’s performance was in collaboration with gay dating app Grindr to mark the start of LGTBIQ+ Pride month.
The application, which for days now has changed its characteristic yellow color for the same pink as the cover of Madonna’s new album, notified its users and streamed the concert live.
Before Madonna, other singers such as Charli XCX, Shakira, Dua Lipa or Paul McCartney also gave surprise concerts in Times Square.
The singer is scheduled to officially present her new work this Friday at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival.
According to Agencia EFE, a 10-minute short film of the first six songs from her new album will be screened, followed by a Q&A with comedian Jimmy Fallon.
