The Mexican rock band Maná announced on Thursday—just hours before headlining the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup—that they will return to Mexico for a concert on December 17 at the GNP Seguros Stadium as part of their “Vivir Sin Aire” tour.
“Mexico City, you asked for it, and here we are, back in the heart of Aztlán on December 17 at GNP Stadium: Maná live,” said the band’s drummer, Alejandro González, in a video shared with EFE.
The return of one of the country’s most internationally renowned bands is part of this tour, during which they will visit five Latin American countries in November and December.
“You’ve never seen Maná the way you’re going to see them now at the GNP—it’s amazing. We’re giving it our all. We’re wrapping up our tour here in our home country with great excitement after touring other countries in South America,” said lead singer Fher Olvera.

According to a statement released by the group, the concert for Mexican audiences promises a setlist featuring the musical anthems that have defined their career since their founding in 1986 and are included on their 11 studio albums.
With a 40-year career, Maná has built a legacy of classics such as “Oye Mi Amor” (1992), their most-streamed song on digital platforms, which now features a Spanish-language version with British artist Dua Lipa as part of her new live album, “Dua Lipa: Live from Mexico.”
Before arriving in Mexico City, the Vivir Sin Aire Tour will visit several other venues, including the Vive Claro in Bogotá (November 28), the Estadio San Marcos in Lima (December 2), the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, Chile (December 5), and the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires (December 12), before concluding at the GNP Seguros Stadium.
Tickets will go on presale on June 17 for Banamex customers, while general sales will begin on June 18.
Maná’s return to Mexico will also be marked by their performance at the World Cup opening ceremony in Mexico City on June 11, where Shakira and Nigerian artist Burna Boy will perform “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 World Cup, according to Agencia EFE.
