Mexican journalist and anchor Michelle Galván, one of Univision’s most beloved figures, seems to be going through a new phase in her personal life.
More than a year after their separation, the co-host of Primer Impacto is said to have recovered the illusion of love, this time with a more mature vision and focused on her emotional and family wellbeing.
Months ago, in an interview with People en Español, Galván confessed her desire to heal and rebuild her love life from a new perspective.
“I want to believe in couple love again, but from a new energy, with an unconditional self-love that allows me to build a healthy, happy and balanced relationship,” expressed the journalist at the time.

As reported this week by journalist Mandy Fridmann through her website Las Top News, Michelle Galvan is reportedly starting a new relationship with businessman Andres Asion, 50.
According to the report, Asion “not only won Michelle’s heart, but also that of her daughter Megan,” the fruit of her previous marriage to Mexican chef Fernando Guajardo.
The source added that the little girl has a very close bond with the businessman, whom she affectionately calls “mommy’s special friend”.
Fridmann detailed that the two had known each other for several years, although they did not have a close relationship at the time, as they were both in a couple.
Andres Asion is a personal friend of Pamela Silva, Michelle’s colleague in Primer impacto, and it was precisely this circle that allowed their first approach.
Michelle Galván: The reunion that marked a new beginning
Fate brought them together again about a year ago, during a benefit party organized by the Gary Nader Gallery in Miami. According to Fridmann’s account, it was at that event that Asion invited Michelle for a first date, just when the journalist was in the midst of divorce proceedings.
Over time, the relationship grew naturally and discreetly. Although they do not live together, the journalist assured that both are “enjoying the relationship” and prioritize the welfare of Michelle’s daughter. For now, Galván has not publicly confirmed the romance, but her followers have celebrated the possibility of seeing her smiling and calm again after a difficult period.
The year 2024 marked a before and after in Michelle Galván’s life. In July of that year, it was made public that she had filed for divorce to end her marriage to Fernando Guajardo, with whom she shared a decade of life together and had their daughter Megan, born in 2020.

During an interview with lecturer Margarita Pasos, Galván spoke honestly about the emotional process involved in the separation and the deep affection and respect she has for her ex-husband.
“When I got married, I married very much in love with my daughter’s father, a man with whom we fulfilled our dreams hand in hand, we achieved our greatest triumph, which was to have Megan. We cried together for the losses of our children and I will always be family with him, because Megan, her dad and I will always be family for her,” she shared with emotion.
These words reflect the maturity and serenity with which the journalist has faced the changes in her life, always prioritizing the welfare of her daughter and maintaining a cordial relationship with her ex-partner.
Today, Michelle Galván is going through a stage of personal and professional renewal, in which she seeks to live love from a different energy, based on inner peace, gratitude and self-love. Although she has not yet officially confirmed her new relationship, everything suggests that the presenter has found in Andres Asion a companion that complements her current moment of life.
With her characteristic balance of elegance and strength, Galván demonstrates that starting over is also a form of love, and that second chances can come when one learns to heal and look forward with an open heart.
