Connecticut United FC arrives as a new club
In the 2026 expansion, MLS NEXT Pro will welcome Connecticut United FC, which becomes the 30th club and the third independent team within the tournament.
It will join Carolina Core FC and Chattanooga FC, which are already part of the same model.
Connecticut United will join the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference and will play its first home game on April 11.
