Danish player Christian Eriksen fainted again in the middle of his national team’s friendly match against Ukraine, and was evacuated from the field “conscious”, according to his country’s federation.
The midfielder, who plays for German club Wolfsburg, had already suffered a collapse on the pitch in the 2021 European Championship finals against Finland.

On this occasion, the player fainted during the Denmark national team’s warm-up match against Ukraine in Odense, which was eventually suspended.
After the hour mark, the player put his hand to his chest and fell to the ground.
The referee demanded the presence of the doctors.
The 34-year-old was treated on the pitch and evacuated on a stretcher.

Afterwards, the match was definitively suspended even though Christian Eriksen had already shown signs of improvement and was consciously withdrawn.
The player “is conscious and relatively well under the circumstances,” the Danish Federation said.
Eriksen already suffered a heart problem in the Euro 2021 match against Finland.
He then resumed his career with certain precautions and care.
