In Miami, the Dolphins beat Jacksonville 14-6.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa showed he was in rhythm and connected on a touchdown pass to rookie receiver Malik Washington, while Mike Boone contributed a game-winning touchdown on the ground.
Tua’s performance generates optimism among Dolphins fans, who expect to see the team compete strongly in the American Conference, where divisional duels will be key in the regular season.

Cleveland Browns 19-17 Los Angeles Rams. The win was sealed at the last second with a 37-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt.
Arizona Cardinals 20-10 Las Vegas Raiders. The Cardinals closed with a convincing win at home.
