The Green Bay Packers continue to prove that they will be serious contenders in this 2025 NFL season, after defeating the Washington Commanders 27-18 in a Lambeau Field that vibrated with every play. Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love shined as the all-time leader by throwing for 292 yards, completing 19 of 31 passes and connecting for two touchdowns with no interceptions.
One of those returns went to tight end Tucker Kraft, who turned in a stellar performance with six receptions, 124 yards and a TD.
On the ground, Josh Jacobs totaled 84 yards on 23 carries and also scored, giving the team offensive balance.
In addition, Romeo Doubs caught Love’s other touchdown pass, capping a 96-yard drive in just seven plays that had the home crowd erupting.

On the Washington Commanders side, rookie Jaden Daniels completed 24 of 41 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns, although he was caught four times.
The lone scorers were Zach Ertz and Deebo Samuel, while kicker Matt Gay missed two field goal attempts that proved decisive.
In addition to the loss, Washington suffered serious injuries to Deatrich Wise and Austin Ekeler, important pieces to its offensive and defensive scheme.
With a 1-1 record, they must now regroup before their next divisional matchup.
