The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots will try to upset the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos as favorites in the conference finals leading up to NFL Super Bowl LX on Sunday.

In the National Conference (NFC), the Rams will visit the Seahawks, with the mission of winning their second NFC title in the recent decade – in 2021 they defeated the San Francisco 49ers – and the sixth in their history.

To do so, Los Angeles has Matthew Stafford, a season MVP candidate and the league’s best quarterback, leading the NFL’s most lethal offense.

Stafford connected on 46 completions and had only eight interceptions on the year.

To shape his aerial circus, the Rams’ veteran pass rusher relies on elite receivers like Puka Nacua and the experienced Davante Adams.

On the ground, Kyren Williams is an unstoppable striker who totaled 1,252 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

Dominant defense and explosive offense

It won’t be easy to beat Seattle and its aggressive defense.

They finished the regular season with the fewest points allowed and finished as the number three team on offense under the command of passer Sam Darnold.

He has in his offensive options deck Jaxon Smith-Njigba, a 23-year-old receiver who was the revelation of the year in the NFL.

On the ground, Kenneth Walker III is a machine that makes linebackers and deep linebackers suffer to stop him.

The Seahawks, who are undefeated in their previous three NFC title games, are slight favorites to reach their fourth Super Bowl in history.

Patriots bet on Drake Maye and his lethal offense

In the NFL’s American Football Conference (AFC), the New England Patriots may find the injury to Denver Broncos starting quarterback Bo Nix the advantage that will pave the way for their return to the Super Bowl.

Drake Maye, a 23-year-old passer, has had a spectacular year of 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Their aerial weapons include Stefon Diggs and Hunter Henry.

On the ground, rookie TreVeyon Henderson, has emerged as a threat.

With all of this the Pats have forged the second most effective offense in the NFL.

¿Will the favorites make it to the Super Bowl?

Broncos rely on their elite defense

Without Bo Nix, the Broncos will have to rely on Jarrett Stidham, a 29-year-old quarterback who has never been a starter.

Despite that loss, Denver remains the favorite thanks to the strong hand of Sean Payton, its experienced coach.

He bases his team’s strength on a potent defense, number two overall in the NFL.

As a testament to that defensive power, the Broncos had four players with at least seven quarterback catches:

Nik Bonitto, Jonathon Cooper, John Franklin-Myers and Zach Allen, elements that threaten to be a nightmare for Drake Maye.

The Patriots will be looking to confirm themselves as the winningest team in AFC history with their 12th title.

The Broncos will try to reach their ninth championship to consolidate their position as the second best in the American Conference.
