One day after its release, twelve of the fifteen songs that make up the digital version of ‘Lux’, Rosalía’s new and long-awaited album, have been positioned in Spotify’s list of the 50 most listened songs worldwide, which has also placed the Catalan at number 3 of artists.
‘La Perla’, where the Catalan artist takes revenge on an old love, is the most listened song of the album and the most played entry, with almost 4.5 million reproductions and is ranked number 5 in the ‘Top 50: Global’, which is led by Taylor Swift’s ‘The Fate of Ophelia’.
In addition, two other songs have made it into the coveted top 10, as the album’s preview, ‘Berghain’, with just over four million plays, is at number 7 (it was at number 28 after its release on October 27) and ‘Reliquia’, at number 10 with almost 3.7 million plays.
Immediately after, at number 11 appears the album’s opener, ‘Sex, Violence and Tires’ (3.6 million plays) and from there the list continues in strict order, showing off the back-to-back album listening that fans seem to have done, ‘Divinize’, at number 14 (3.1 million plays); ‘Porcelain’ at number 20 (almost 3 million), and ‘Mio Cristo Piange Diaminti’ (2.7 million) at number 23.
Rosalía causes a sensation with ‘LUX’.

A jump occurs to ‘Dios Es un Stalker’ (2.5 million), which is at 26, followed by ‘De Madrugá’ (2.4 million), then back to the song ‘Mundo Nuevo’, which is already positioned below the middle of the table, at 31 with 2.3 million reproductions.
‘La Yugular’ (36th place, 2.3 million plays) and ‘La Rumba Del Perdón’ (42nd, almost 2.2 million) are the last two songs on the list, which has left out ‘Sauvignon Blanc’, ‘Memória’ and ‘Magnolias’, all three with more than 1.8 million listens, however.
On the other hand, Rosalía has climbed 88 places in one fell swoop to number 3 in the global artist chart, behind only Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny.
In the ‘Top50: Spain’ Rosalía has taken the top 16 slots on the chart, with the only interruption being ‘Daddy Yankee: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66’, which is at No. 7.
Rosalía released ‘Lux’ on Friday, reported Agencia EFE, which consists of 15 songs in digital format and 18 in physical format, a work to which media outlets such as Rolling Stone magazine, the BBC, The Guardian and Variety have responded, reported Agencia EFE.
