Renowned singer and businesswoman Chiquis Rivera has expanded her presence in the entertainment world with the launch of her new show Foodie on the Go, a docuseries that combines her passion for food and travel.
This project, premiering in March 2025, is broadcast through LatiNation Media and is available on the LatiNation+ app.
Exploring flavors and cultures

In Foodie on the Go, Chiquis travels to various cities in the United States, visiting restaurants and culinary businesses that stand out for their cultural relevance and authenticity.
Each 30-minute episode shows her interacting with chefs and owners, diving into the stories behind each dish and highlighting the connection between food, family and community.
The inaugural episode took her to Chicago, where she explored Volare, a family-owned Italian restaurant with nearly three decades of history.
Under the guidance of chef Massimo, a native of Bologna, they prepared together black risotto with seafood and the classic tiramisu, reflecting the city’s rich Italian-American heritage.
Highlighting the resilience of small businesses

In later episodes, Chiquis visits Peasants Feast in Solvang, California, a town with a strong Danish influence.
There, he meets chef Michael Cherney and his wife Sarah, who opened the restaurant in the midst of the pandemic, paying homage to local farmers and culinary traditions.
Together they prepare the Copenhagen Caesar Salad and the Solvang Hot Chicken Sandwich, exemplifying the fusion of cultures and the resilience of entrepreneurship.
Upcoming episodes will take her to cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami, exploring everything from high-end restaurants to food trucks and hidden gems in neighborhoods, celebrating the country’s diverse cuisine.
Production and accessibility

Foodie on the Go is a joint production of Busy Bee Productions, founded by Chiquis, and LatiNation Media.
The program airs weekly on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT on the LATV linear channel, on LatiNation’s FAST channels and is available for streaming on the LatiNation+ app, accessible on iOS and Android devices.
Jenni Rivera’s daughter said of her show: “I’ve always had good teeth, I’ve had them since I was a little girl. Last year we traveled a lot with my Diamantes tour and every time I went to a city I would look at TikTok or Hashtags and say ‘what am I going to eat?
Me dije ¿sabes qué? Tengo mi casa productora, me gusta comer, viajo mucho, hay que hacer un show y así es como nació...
Inspiration and cultural connection
Chiquis has expressed that the goal of the program is to connect with the stories of those behind each dish, highlighting the inspiration that comes from the food, the culture and the people who prepare it.
Its natural, conversational approach allows us to delve into the personal narratives of chefs and owners, offering an authentic view of gastronomy and its impact on communities.
For the U.S. Hispanic community, “Foodie on the Go” represents a celebration of culinary diversity and a recognition of entrepreneurs who preserve and reinvent traditions, strengthening cultural identity and fostering connection through gastronomy.
