American singer Barry Manilow announced that he will postpone his Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled for February and now rescheduled for March, in order to recover from the lung cancer treatment he underwent.
“I am well and recovering well from surgery (…) However, following the indications and recommendations of my doctor, we have decided to postpone the dates of my residency,” he wrote in a statement posted on his official Instagram account.
Manilow was scheduled for a residency at the Westgate Las Vegas from February 12-21, which will now take place from March 26-28.

The singer, however, is still scheduled to kick off his stadium tour on February 27 at Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena, with dates scheduled through April, the last one being April 19 in Georgia.
The singer had already rescheduled his January tour dates for March and April and promised to release new music soon.
This Wednesday, the ‘Mandy’ singer also assured in the write-up that he has been working out and spending time in the studio: “which has been fantastic,” he noted.
In December, Manilow announced that he would undergo surgery to remove “a cancerous spot” from his lung that was discovered after finishing a series of Christmas concerts, reported Agencia EFE.
