Following his arrest at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, Brown appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court, where he was denied bail due to the seriousness of the charges and the risk of absconding.

The case has been referred to Southwark Crown Court in London, with a hearing scheduled for June 13, 2025.

In parallel, Diaw filed a civil lawsuit against Brown in October 2023, seeking $16 million in damages for physical and emotional injuries stemming from the incident.

This arrest comes at a critical time for Brown, who was scheduled to kick off his “Breezy Bowl XX” European tour on June 8, 2025, celebrating his 20 years in the music industry.

The tour included ten concerts in the United Kingdom, starting in Manchester. However, the arrest and pending charges cast doubt on the realization of these events.

To date, neither Brown nor his team have issued official statements regarding the arrest or the future of the tour.
