Who said Republicans didn’t stand a chance in Gavin Newsom land? California’s political chessboard just blew up after President Donald Trump used his Truth Social network to give his official endorsement to Steve Hilton. Yes, the same guy you saw every night analyzing reality on FOX News who now wants to be the next tenant of the governor’s mansion in Sacramento.
Trump spared no praise for his longtime friend, calling him a man of “true integrity” and asserting that Hilton has witnessed California – a state he describes as “once great” – go, in his words, “to hell.” This endorsement is not just any endorsement; it’s the fuel Hilton needed to peel away from his chief domestic rival, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco.
The “Division Effect”: The Democratic Nightmare

It turns out that there are 61 candidates! registered for the June primaries.
This saturation of names has caused the Democratic vote to be more fragmented than a broken mirror.
While the likes of Katie Porter, Eric Swalwell and Tom Steyer are stuck in a technical tie hovering at barely 10%, Hilton and Bianco are capitalizing on conservative discontent.
If the Democrats don’t get several of their challengers to decline soon, the “top two” system (where the top two advance to the finals regardless of party) could play into the hands of the left.
Imagine a final between two Republicans in America’s most proggy state! It would be total chaos.
Who is Steve Hilton, the candidate for governor of California?
The CALIFORDABLE plan:
✅$3 Gas

Steve Hilton is not your typical career politician.
He was born in the United Kingdom, where he was a brilliant strategist, but he crossed the pond, became a U.S. citizen and embraced the American dream wholeheartedly.
His immigrant background and straightforward on-camera style have made him a charismatic figure who connects with those who feel that the cost of living and insecurity in California are already unbearable.
California has not had a Republican governor since Arnold Schwarzenegger left office nearly two decades ago.
Will the “Trump Effect” and the Democrats’ identity crisis open the door for Hilton?
What about you What Onnda, do you think California is ready for a radical shift to the right or will Trump’s endorsement be more of a hindrance than a help in such a liberal state?
