Taylor Swift shocked the world by announcing her twelfth studio album, titled The Life of a Showgirl, during an appearance on the popular podcast New Heights, hosted by her partner, NFL player Travis Kelce, and her brother Jason.
The announcement came just after a mysterious countdown ended at 12:12 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12. Shortly thereafter, Swift opened the album’s vinyl, cassette and CD pre-sale on her online store, with shipping dates before Oct. 13 .
A cover loaded with theatricality and glamour

However, other photos with alternative covers appeared and surprised, as they show Taylor Swift with little clothing, something not so common for her.
Swift confirmed that the album will be officially released on October 3, 2025, marking a new stage in her discography following The Tortured Poets Department.
