The Seed of Evil

El exorcismo de Albaicín que estremeció a España

In February 1990, in the historic Albaicín neighborhood of Granada, an old house became the scene of a horror that had no visible demons, but an equally devastating force: absolute belief. HERE you can listen to the podcast.

That is the starting point of the new episode of the podcast Crímenes del Más Allá, entitled “La Semilla del Mal” – El exorcismo de Albaicín, a sound investigation that reconstructs a real case where superstition, fanaticism and mourning led to an irreversible tragedy.

The story begins after the death of a child from leukemia, a blow that left his family deeply scarred.

From that moment on, everyday events began to be interpreted as signs from “beyond”.

Noises, physical sensations and altered emotional states took on a supernatural significance within an environment dominated by pain, guilt and fear.

In that context, Encarnación Guardia, a 36-year-old woman, developed a mystical delirium: she claimed to be pregnant by the “son of Lucifer”, a “seed of evil” that, according to her, was consuming her from within.

Convinced that her body was the battleground of a spiritual struggle, the family sought answers outside of medicine and reason.

A ritual without faith… or limits

Far from turning to religious or health authorities, the group went to a spiritualist and organized a family meal with the intention of “calming the spirit”.

However, what began as a meeting ended up turning into an improvised and violent ritual.

The episode details how Mariano Fuentes, known as “El Pastelero”, assumed the role of leader.

Without being a priest or having any training, he proclaimed himself a fighter of hell and convinced those present that physical suffering was necessary for “purification”.

Vinegar, salt and pepper were used as supposed instruments of spiritual liberation.

There were no protocols, no official exorcism, no medical intervention.

Only a closed logic in which pain was justified as faith.

The silence that sealed the tragedy

During the ritual, Encarnación Guardia stopped responding.

Even so, the group leader refused to accept reality.

According to his conviction, it was not a crime, but a spiritual “victory”.

This extreme self-deception is one of the axes that Crimes of the Beyond analyzes in depth: how misunderstood faith and collective suggestion can override empathy, reason and survival instinct.

Roberto Belmont: narrating horror with rigor

The episode is hosted by Roberto Belmont, content creator and researcher specialized in paranormal phenomena, criminology and unexplained events.

With an established track record in podcasting in Spanish, Belmont is distinguished by its analytical, documented and respectful approach to victims.

In Crimes of the Afterlife, Belmont does not seek to feed the morbid, but to explore the boundaries between the supernatural, human psychology and individual responsibility when belief trumps reality.

“The Seed of Evil” is not just a story about a failed exorcism.

It is a warning about the destructive power of fanaticism and human frailty in the face of grief.

The episode of the exorcism of Albaicín is already available on audio platforms and is part of the catalog of podcasts promoted by QuéOnnda and Nueva Network, such as Observador Paranormal and El Sexto Sentido.
