At Coldplay’s July 16, 2025 concert at Gillette Stadium (Boston), a classic “kiss cam” moment went viral when Andy Byron, CEO of software and data company Astronomer (valued at about $1.2 billion), and Kristin Cabot, the company’s director of human resources, appeared on screen.
In the images they are seen embracing and intertwining hands, until they realize they are being filmed and quickly pull away, visibly uncomfortable… They are both married to different partners!
Reaction at the Coldplay show and on social networks

Vocalist Chris Martin, surprised by the on-screen couple, joked:
“Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy…” and added humorously, “I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
The clip, posted on TikTok, quickly amassed more than 3 million reactions, and users on X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn began analyzing profiles, claiming that Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, with whom he has two children, and that Cabot divorced in 2022.
Following the incident, Byron’s wife apparently deleted her last name from his Facebook profile and deleted his account, while Cabot also removed his professional presence on LinkedIn.
What are the risks involved for Astronomer?

Sentimental involvement between a senior executive and the head of Human Resources raises questions about favoritism, impartiality and conflicts of interest in the company.
With Astronomer valued at approximately $1.2 billion, these types of scandals can affect the confidence of investors, customers and partners, especially when memes and viral content about the alleged infidelity circulate.
Company personnel have been barred from speaking to the press, suggesting concerns about the work environment and possible internal effects of this situation.

Although neither has commented publicly, the removal of names and profiles by both reinforces the perception that something has happened.
