Tom Holland returns to the skin of the famous Peter Parker to face a world that has forgotten him in the first trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ released on Tuesday.
“My name is Peter Parker. You don’t remember me, but we used to know each other. Something very bad was going to happen and the only way to stop it was to make everyone forget about me. Because I’m not just Peter Parker, I’m Spider-Man,'” reads the beginning of a trailer in which the protagonist once again climbs walls with the help of his spider web.
After the painful passing of his Aunt May, Parker faces a profoundly lonely reality. Because of the personal sacrifice he made to protect the multiverse, the world, including his most loved ones, MJ (Zendaya) and his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), has completely forgotten who he is.
In one part of the trailer, the protagonist coincides in the university hall with Bruce Banner, played by Mark Ruffalo, who returns to the Marvel universe willing to help him decipher what is happening with the mutated DNA inside his body.
