“Toy Story 5” will be released next June 2026, Disney and Pixar have announced in the first teaser for the popular animated film saga.
In the video you can see how the protagonists of the saga, Buzz and Woody, witness in this new installment the arrival of Lillypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet that they feel as a threat.
Actress Greta Lee (Past Lives) joins the film’s voice cast, which includes Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as Woody and Buzz, respectively, and Joan Cusack as Jessie, Blake Clark as Slinky and Tony Hale as Forky, according to Variety.

Andrew Stanton, director of ‘Finding Nemo,’ ‘Wall-E’ and ‘Finding Dory,’ will direct the film.
‘Toy Story’ was released in 1995, becoming the first feature-length animated film made entirely on computer.
The second installment came in 1999, ‘Toy Story 3’ in 2010, and ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2019. The latter two grossed more than $1 billion worldwide, reported Agencia EFE.
