U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday blamed Democrats for the shooting at a migrant detention center in Dallas, Texas, that left one dead, and accused them of encouraging rhetoric against ICE, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“It has now been revealed that the shooter, out of his mind, wrote ‘ANTI-ICE’ on his cartridges.This is despicable! The brave men and women of ICE are just trying to do their job and remove the “WORST of the WORST” criminals from our country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence and attacks by radicals on the left,” Trump wrote on his social network, Truth Social.
Accuses Democrats of demonizing ICE
Trump charged at Democrats after FBI Director Kash Patel shared a photo showing an unused bullet cartridge on which ‘ANTI-ICE’ is written in blue ink.
Alluding to the acronym for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to the president, this violence is the result of:
“Democrats on the radical left constantly demonize law enforcement, call for dismantling ICE and compare its agents to ‘Nazis.'”

“The persistent violence by radical left terrorists, following the murder of Charlie Kirk, must end.”
“ICE agents and other brave members of law enforcement face a grave threat,” Trump added.
Referring to the recent murder of the ultra-conservative activist.
An individual fired shots at an ICE facility, killing at least one immigrant detained at the facility and injuring two others.
Dems urged to stop anti-ICE rhetoric
No service personnel were injured, according to the police.
The attacker, identified by NBC as a 29-year-old man named Joshua Jahn, although official confirmation is still pending, took his own life after the shooting.
“I CALL ON ALL DEMOCRATS TO STOP THIS RETORTION AGAINST ICE AND U.S. LAW ENFORCEMENT NOW!” the Republican urged.
The Trump Administration, he added, “is fully committed to supporting law enforcement, protecting the borders.”
“Secure our homeland, deport violent criminals.”
“And completely eradicate the leftist domestic terrorism that is terrorizing our country.”
