Nickelodeon Actor Now Homeless

He is known for his role in the series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and now faces a difficult situation

Tylor Chase, known for playing Martin Qwerly in the Nickelodeon series Ned’s School Survival Handbook, is currently in an extremely vulnerable situation. The 36-year-old actor was seen living on the streets of Riverside, California, a far cry from the popularity he achieved during his teenage years on American television.

According to recent reports, Chase has been observed picking up cigarette butts and discarded Christmas cards, an image that has generated concern and reignited debate about the challenges many child performers face after leaving the entertainment industry.

His time at Nickelodeon and the decline of his career

Tylor Chase was born in Arizona and rose to notoriety at age 15, when he joined the cast of Ned’s School Survival Handbook.

The series aired from 2004 to 2007, and Chase participated in all three seasons, establishing himself as a recognizable face for an entire generation.

After the end of the program, her acting career lost momentum.

Although he made some minor appearances, he eventually disappeared from the television circuit, a common but difficult transition for many actors who achieve fame at a young age.

Attempts to reinvent oneself outside of acting

According to information published by Daily Mail, after leaving acting Tylor Chase moved to Georgia with his father and, in 2014, began posting poetry videos on YouTube.

In one of them, entitled “Bipolar”, he expressed feelings of loss and disorientation, reflecting a complex emotional state.

Years later she moved to Riverside, where her mother works as a real estate agent.

During that period he tried to resume his creative facet and in 2020 he published two fantasy novels under the pseudonym Shrine Tylor.

Until October 2021, he maintained constant activity on YouTube, sharing poems and narrated excerpts from his books.

Legal problems and refusal of official aid

Chase’s life in recent years has been marked by instability.

Riverside County court records indicate that he faces 12 open cases since August 2023, several related to alleged petty theft and use of controlled substances.

Riverside Police Department spokesman Ryan Railsback stated that Tylor Chase is not actively wanted and has been cordial and cooperative in his interactions with authorities.

He also confirmed that police and social services have offered him temporary shelter, addiction treatment and mental health support, all of which Chase has declined.

What Tylor Chase says and his family’s position

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Tylor Chase denied being homeless and said that he had support from family and friends.

He noted that his mother lives in the area and is considering moving back to Georgia to access a housing assistance program and reunite with his father.

His mother, Paula Moisio, declined to give direct statements, but publicly requested that a collection organized to help her son be suspended.

“Tylor needs medical care, not money,” she wrote, stressing that cash would not resolve the situation if he continues to refuse treatment.
