Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has released the list of 26 players who will represent the United States at the 2025 Gold Cup.
The call is notable for the inclusion of young talent and a strong presence of Major League Soccer(MLS) players, reflecting a strategy aimed at developing new players for the 2026 World Cup.
Notable absences

Several key U.S. players will not be part of the Gold Cup.
Christian Pulisic requested a rest period, while Sergiño Dest continues his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Others such as Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna and Tim Weah will be absent due to Club World Cup commitments.
Alejandro Zendejas, despite having been included in the pre-list, was left out of the final call-up.
Pochettino explained that his participation in the Club World Cup with Club America represented a logistical risk, so other players were chosen.
