Hours before the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, the attacker, identified as Robin Westman, shared a disturbing manifesto on his YouTube account, which exposed his violent thoughts and extremist ideology.
The manifesto is apparently written in his own handwriting and was shared via a chilling video posted on Robin Westman’s purported YouTube account, an account that is now listed as disabled.
A disturbing video with chilling confessions
The Minneapolis school shooter who killed two children wrote phrases in Russian like “kill yourself,” “help me!” “I am terrorist,” and “when will this end?” He also listened to Russian rap artists.

Westman, 23, posted an approximately 20-minute video of him flipping through a red notebook containing writing in English and Cyrillic.
In it, he fantasized about being the terrifying monster who towered over helpless children and acknowledged his admiration for Sandy Hook massacre perpetrator Adam Lanza.
During the video titled “So long and thanks for all the fish,” diagrams of weapons were seen.
In addition to pages with phrases like: “I have had thoughts about mass murder for a long time. I need to get my thoughts out without getting on a watchlist haha! I need to get my thoughts out without getting on a watchlist haha!”).
All this between maniacal laughter and coughing, a scene that reflects a deeply disturbed mind.
Hatred, anti-Semitism and political references
The manifesto was riddled with violent ideas and hate messages.
Some hurtful anti-Semitic comments such as “filthy Zionist Jews”, “6 million wasn’t enough”, as well as “Israel must fall” and slogans in support of “Free Palestine”.
It also included direct threats against public figures, with bullets and magazines marked with phrases such as “kill Donald Trump” and allusions to Elon Musk as possible targets.
Meticulous planning of the attack
The attacker had studied school, where his mother worked as a secretary until 2021, and he himself graduated in 2017.
He noted that the school was an “easy target” with the potential for a devastating tragedy and detailed his plan.
Wait for the children to come out of recess, enter and shoot “for as long as possible”.
Weapons, farewells and an announced end
Robin Westman displayed in another video an arsenal consisting of a semi-automatic rifle, shotgun and pistol, with magazines marked “for the children” and declarations that his last act would be memorable.
In fact, in the notebook he also left a message of apology to his family: “I’m sorry I didn’t turn out as you expected…”, framing his violence as a self-announced end.
A tragedy with echoes of terrorism and hatred

The FBI is already investigating the attack as a possible act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime against Catholics, given the explicit motivations expressed in the manifesto.
Police Chief Brian O’Hara emphasized the unconscionable cruelty of the act and expressed his closeness to the healing community.
This document clearly exposes the criminal intentions and radical ideology of the attacker.
It is a critical piece in understanding the dangers of violent extremism and the need for vigilance over content such as public manifestos.
