The climate in Washington has gone from diplomatic tension to digital chaos in a matter of hours. This Tuesday, the White House was forced to come out against a wave of speculation pointing to the unthinkable: the use of nuclear weapons against Iran. It all began after the incendiary words of President Donald Trump, who warned that “an entire civilization will die tonight,” and cryptic comments by his vice president, JD Vance, about “tools in the arsenal” that have not yet been used.
The spark that ignited the prairie was a post from the opposition account ‘Headquarters’, which claimed that Vance was hinting at an imminent nuclear attack. The Republican administration’s response was swift, but far from using diplomatic language, the rapid response account ‘Rapid Response 47’ lashed out with insults, calling those who spread the interpretation “pieces of idiots.”
What did JD Vance really say?

From Budapest, Vice President Vance tried to show a posture of strength, assuring that he is confident that Tehran will yield before 8:00 PM (Washington time).
However, it was his words that fueled the fire: “They need to know that we have tools in our arsenal that, so far, we have not decided to use.”
Although the White House denies that he is referring to nuclear warheads, Trump’s talk of the disappearance of “an entire civilization” has caused the international community to ask: What other weapon, short of a nuclear weapon, has the power to wipe out an entire culture in a single night?

While official accounts are “beating each other up” on social networks, the deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz continues to run.
Trump has called this April 7 “one of the most important moments in the history of the world,” and the pressure to unblock the flow of oil is absolute.
For its part, the opposition has not backed down. ‘Headquarters’ responded to the White House’s insults by calling the president’s threat of annihilation “insane.”
What is certain is that, amidst digital insults and half-hearted denials, the world is still waiting for official clarification on what Washington really plans to do if the strait remains closed at the stroke of 8:00 pm.
Do you think the White House is just “barking” to scare Iran, or are we really facing the possibility of a never-before-seen attack?
